Cloud Service Orchestrator (CSO)
The DXC Cloud Service Orchestrator (CSO) acts as a single point of contact (SPOC) for specific accounts/customers. He/she ensures cloud delivery and operations teams deliver services with high quality, in line with customer expectations, contractual agreements, and within expected costs.
The main goals are to deliver agile and secure managed services on cloud platforms, to ensure high availability of the service, provide advice and guidance on all technical matters to customer, to continuously increase the level of automation to ensure high quality, ensure financial goals are met, and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
The Cloud Service Orchestrator is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills. The DXC-managed cloud environments are envisioned to mature into a DevOps delivery model.
Acts as a single point of contact (SPOC) for designated accounts and customers for all operational and technical matters
Ensures high quality services are delivered for account in scope
o Ensure contractual SLAs are met
o Ensure processes are followed
o Provide reports of operational activities to account
o Ensure documentation is maintained and available
Ensure customer satisfaction is measured and maintained at high levels
o Includes organizing customer feedback sessions
Take full ownership of incoming actions and issues and drive them to resolution
o Own escalations related to services for the accounts in scope
o Coordinate highly complex changes between various DXC and customer teams
o Run cost and security analysis using automated tools and organize periodic reviews with customers
Serve as technical subject matter expert for services delivered to designated accounts
o Be knowledgeable of customer objectives and requirements from delivered services
o Maintain all customer-specific architecture, design, and procedure documentation
Proactively and continuously improve the service through:
o driving incident root cause identification and fixes
o driving further automation and standardization
o developing more agile and effective ways of working
o defining and maintaining an account Continuous Service Improvement Plan
o Own all customer requests, provide proposals to customer and drive delivery to customers requirements
o Owns and evolves the service catalog for accounts/customers in scope
o Through high customer intimacy, understand customer plans and influence/faciliate migrations of additional workloads to Public Cloud
Finances: ensure that services are delivered within budget and proper billing distribution is conducted
Skills and Qualifications
Solid business acumen and overall knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies
Deep knowledge of public cloud concepts, technologies, and services
Ability to become proficient in new technologies and their business applications
Trained or Experienced and Certified in cloud platforms:
o Microsoft Azure
o Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o Google Cloud Platform
o Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Ability to comprehend digital architectures, understanding intersection between technologies, infrastructure, applications, operational processes, and business requirements
Team worker with strong ownership and drive
Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written)
Experience building strong relationships with customers, including senior stakeholders
Analytical mind set, ability to interpret data and drive business conclusions
